My Year in Review + Exciting Scoop for What’s Coming in 2015
On this last day of each year, I have childhood memories of watching a special Icelandic TV show, called ‘Year in Review’ on TV. Over the years, I have adapted the practice of reviewing my own life both personally and professionally on the last day of each year. This summary of highlights serves both as a recognition and gratitude for all the good that has happened. This practice helps me to begin the new year in a positive way, and to start to think about my intentions for the year ahead. I also find celebrating successes and milestones with clients is so important to maintaining motivation and holding up joy in the journey.
I encourage you to reflect on your own journey – from wellness practices to professional wins – over the last twelve months, as you make plans for the year ahead. To get the conversation started, I thought I’d share some of my key milestones from my practice at Simple Well Being in 2014. There is also some exciting items coming for 2015!
In 2014, I …
– Ran my signature seasonal detox 7 times in the U.S. and Iceland for over 300 participants
– Maintained a thriving individual coaching practice with 30 clients
– Developed a new logo (as seen in the header of this email – nice, huh? 🙂
– Developed and launched a new program, the Gluten Free Bootcamp
– Led 12 cooking classes ranging in topics from seasonal eating, to Vitamix recipes and winter soups.
– Hired a wonderful virtual operations manager, Kristin (who is also an IIN graduate, like me!)
I am so excited to share with you some of our plans for 2015:
– Celebrate my 10 year anniversary by launching a new, gorgeous website that will have lots of special client features.
– Continue to align myself with other integrative medical doctors
– Lay the groundwork for a wellness + adventure trip to my home country of Iceland – Will run my signature detox program in the US four times and in Iceland 1-2 times.
– Lead additional new cooking classes and continue to develop my private practice
I am so grateful for each and every one of you, for all your support, so I can continue to do what I love to do. I love helping people like you on the journey to living healthy, vibrant lives that we all deserve. Here’s to supporting each to a prosperous new year!
Wishing You a Happy and Healthy 2015!
