Strawberry Citrus Frozen Fruit Cream Recipe
Ingredients:
Juice of 3 medium oranges
2 cups frozen strawberries
1 medium frozen banana
2 Tbsp raw almond butter
1 Tbsp raw honey
1 Tbsp unrefined coconut oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
pinch of sea salt
Directions:
Put all the ingredients in a high-powered blender. Blend on medium for 30 seconds. Then blend on high until the texture resembles a soft sorbet, about 30 seconds longer. If your blender struggles with this thick mixture add a splash of ice water to thin.
Serve immediately in your favorite bowls. Eat slowly. Savor the flavor. The strawberry citrus frozen fruit cream recipe is a great seasonal cool down. If the recipe is allowed to thaw a bit it can be consumed as a shake. Alternatively, put it in popsicle molds and freeze.
