Taco Bar

Taco’s can be a healthy meal when ingredients are chosen carefully. Prep work is minimal since everyone is making their own Tacos from the ‘bar’.

Ingredients

Shells – organic corn shells, Romain leaves or Collard green leaves (stem removed)

Bearito’s Taco Seasoning

Black beans

Organic Ground turkey or grass fed ground beef

Roasted Garlic salsa – I like the Field Day brand

Cilantro

Shredded cheese

Guacamole

Chopped cherry tomatoes

 

Directions:

Chop tomatoes and cilantro. Put all the ingredients in bowls and put them out on the table. I like to use a large Lazy Susan.

Brown the turkey or meat (if using) and add the taco seasoning. Do the same with the beans and put in a different bowl.
