What Scares You?

When a family friend asked why my children didn’t know about my childhood gymnastics successes, I realized I had taken my dad’s lesson too far. He always stressed that I should never let my successes and accomplishments get to my head. I became not only humble but also timid about sharing anything out of fear of being seen as bragging.

As a business owner for 16 years, I continue to find myself outside of my comfort zone when I have to shamelessly promote myself. Thankfully, word of mouth has largely kept me going.

That said, as a Nutrition and Wellness Coach I know firsthand that if I’m not comfortable, I’m not growing. In that vain, I wanted to share with you that I’m honored to have been featured in Bethesda magazine this month. Here’s the link to the free digital version (p. 223).

If you read it, you’ll see that my message revolves a lot around good health starting in the kitchen. It doesn’t matter if you don’t know how to cook, don’t have time, or are on a restricted diet, I love the challenge of helping you find a way to creatively get good nourishment into your body. And do it in such as way that also supports any health challenge you are dealing with. I have helped numerous clients reverse pre-diabetes, calm auto-immune flares, clear hypertension, ease digestive problems, soothe aches and pains, and reclaim their energy just to name a few. All this through the power of proper nutrition (as well as targeted supplements and lifestyle changes).

Could changing the way you eat be an opportunity for you to get out of your comfort zone while also receiving wonderful health benefits? I invite you to reach out to me and have a chat about it.

Here’s to never letting ourselves stop growing and embracing the discomfort!

Yours in health,
Linda
